Description
A serious disease caused by Clostridium tetani bacteria producing toxins that affect the nervous system. Causes painful muscle stiffness and spasms. Preventable by vaccination.
Carbohydrate Dependency: Clostridium tetani is carbohydrate-independent, utilizing peptides and anaerobic respiration for energy. Largely unaffected by dietary carbohydrate restriction.
