Bacterial Pneumonia

Description

A lung infection caused by bacteria such as Streptococcus pneumoniae. Symptoms include cough, fever, chest pain, and difficulty breathing.

Carbohydrate Dependency: Streptococcus pneumoniae is carbohydrate-dependent, relying on glucose for growth and virulence. Weakens significantly during fasting or ketogenic/carnivore diets when glucose is restricted.
